Hollywood’s Hottest Brad Pitt is starring in the film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button along with another of our Hollywood’s Hottest, Cate Blanchett. The movie is based on the book by F. Scott Fitzgerald in which the main character is born in his eighties and ages backwards. The movie takes place in New Orleans 1918 and continues on into the 21st century! Many of our patients tell us that we have a similar effect of “turning back the clock” with our surgical expertise. This is one movie BHI certainly won't miss!

E! Online has put together an "E! Online's year-end spectacular Replay 08. Mario Testino was the photographer, and shot the pictures in Malibu, California. Jessica was voted as Best Body on our HHL Annual List. Jennifer Garner Pregnant!

In an interview with Access Hollywood Jennifer Garner has confirmed that she is pregnant with her second child! Garner who was interviewed at Baby Einstein’s 10th anniversary celebration, joked with Access' Tony Potts saying "she just had a big breakfast.” Later in the interview she confessed that she was indeed pregnant. Congratulations to her and husband, Ben Affleck from BHI!

Hollywood's Hottest Country Star!

One of our Hollywood’s Hottest has her own wax figure! Country sensation Carrie Underwood worked with wax artists to help design the look-alike earlier this year. Underwood visited Madame Tussauds of New York to get a look at her life sized replica. The wax figure stands with hand on hips, and is wearing a duplicate of the dress Underwood wore to the 2006 Country Music Association Awards show where she won her first CMA award for female vocalist of the year.

Hugh Jackman is the Sexiest Man Alive!

Our own Hugh Jackman has been named Sexiest Man Alive! In the interview with People Magazine the star spoke of his upcoming film Australia and his co-star, Nicole Kidman (another Hollywood’s Hottest Looks star). People Magazine released it's annual list of sexy men, and a few of our Hollywood’s Hottest are on it! Also on the list are Daniel Craig, Zac Efron, David Beckham, some of our personal favorites!

Charlize Theron working for the U.N.?

On Friday, November 14th, Hollywood's Hottest Charlize Theron, was designated a U.S. messenger of peace! In her free time Charlize will be traveling the globe speaking out for ending violence against women. It's nice to know that not only is Charlize is beautiful, but she also has substance!

Parade Magazine has released its 'Top Ten Favorite Hollywood Stars' and it's no surprise that six out of the ten are on our Hollywood's Hottest List! Will Smith claimed number one favorite, George Clooney is number four, Brad Pitt got number six, Johnny Depp took eight, Jennifer Aniston was number nine, and last, but definitly not least, Patrick Dempsey is number ten! Paris Hilton on the Cover of Nylon!

Paris Hilton is on the November cover of Nylon Magazine. To celebrate, she went to Foxtail accompanied by her long time boyfriend Benji Madden, of Good Charlotte. E! had the chance to talk with Paris about her movie Repo! The Genetic Opera, where she plays a girl addicted to plastic surgery. Repo! debuted in select theaters last week.

One of our Hollywood's Hottest Looks, Nicole Kidman, gave birth at 41 years of age to a daughter, Sunday Rose, in July. In an interview with Parade magazine, Kidman said that she had given up hope of ever carrying a child, but is now happy she had a child later in life because she was ready for it. After years of denying that she has had any work done, Lisa Rinna of Dancing with the Stars, has finally admitted that she has received Juvederm facial injections! The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery conducted a poll asking patients which celebrity features they most wanted. It wasn't shocking to us to hear the results named Angelina Jolie, since she always tops our Hollywoods Hottest Looks every year! She is in New Orleans this week after promoting her new film The Changeling in NYC last weekend. People are even talking another Oscar nomination for her. As always, looking HOT Angelina!

Last night, one of our new guilty pleasures was on, Gossip Girl. Are Blair and Serena back to being enemies? We guess we will have to find out next Monday but this morning, we saw the new cover of Details Magazine. The three main male characters, Dan, Nate and Chuck are on the cover! These guys are a little young but we see why the ladies love them. Maybe in a couple years, our male patients will be asking to look like them for our Hollywood’s Hottest Looks!

We just saw this book at the book store the other day and needed to spread the word! While we think it is great that there are books out there explaining to kids about their father's hair loss, we think you can avoid the whole conversation with the Fleming/Mayer Flap! It seems that gossip sites continue to discuss Jennifer Grey's plastic surgery. We all know that she had her nose done a while back but Perez Hilton thinks she looks dramatically different and has possibly had additional work done. We do think she is looking well preserved but that doesn't mean anything invasive.

Tragic News

Travis Barker and Adam ‘DJ AM' Goldstein slid down the wing of a burning Learjet to escape this past weekend. Once they landed they had to tackle one another to extinguish the flames that left them both with second and third degree burns. Our hearts go out to them and the four others who were traveling with them that perished in the accident.

Thankfully, Travis and DJ AM didn't suffer any serious injuries except the burns. Scar revision is almost a daily work here at BHI, but sometimes it is a challenge for plastic surgeons. There are many methods of scar revision and if they (or you) have any questions, we are here to answer!

Emmy "MAD"ness

It has been a busy couple of weeks for us here at BHI, so much that we didn't have time to watch the Emmy's on Sunday night. Thank Goodness we TiVo'd the show. Unfortunately, we ended up fast forwarding through most of it. What was great news is that one of our favorite shows won! Mad Men has an amazingly talented cast and such clever dialogue. Also, one of our patients has insider knowledge about the show which makes us love it more. Congrats Mad Men! We will be watching this Sunday night faithfully!

Jennifer Aniston hasn’t let another break up get her down. We think she is looking sexier than ever. There are rumors swirling around that she has plumped up her lips for a poutier look. Her reps say otherwise and she even told Hello! Magazine, "I'm very satisfied with what God gave me."

BHI WOULD BE MAD TOO

In Hollywood there is always speculation about who has had some "work" done. Now in the past we have commented on Ali Lohan but attributed any changes to make-up magic. Rumors are spreading about possible breast implants for Ali and her sister, Lindsay is fighting mad!

"It made me feel a bit sick to my stomach," Lindsay wrote on her MySpace Celebrity Blog.

We understand the public's curiosity but if a 14 year old is developing, we think we should just assume it is mother nature!

We found an interesting article online today about the nature of tabloid magazines and when they are usually right and when they are usually wrong. One of the topics that they are usually right about is…PLASTIC SURGERY!

“No other publications are as good at chronicling the new noses and trout pouts of the rich and famous,” the article stated. “The downside is the tabs don’t know or even care if it’s a facelift or just a picture taken from a bad angle. They consider it accurate reporting if they can get a comment from a doctor who hasn’t treated the stars.”

Unlike the tabloids, BHI is almost always right which is why the media loves to ask our opinion. Because we pride ourselves on natural results, you won’t find our celeb patients in these magazines.

BHI Does Not Approve

We love when mommies make themselves a priority and decide to do a mommy makeover but this is the one of the few times, BHI DOES NOT APPROVE!

Londie Bowman, 32, has plead guilty for three counts of identity theft for using a stolen debit card to pay for her Mommy Makeover. Bowman faces up to four years and four months of prison time when she is sentenced at the end of the month. The fraud was found by her plastic surgeon when the office sent her flowers during her recovery and found out it was an incorrect address. She later returned for a follow up visit and the doctor tipped off the police.

No rejuvenation techniques are worth jail, people!

Marie Claire UK Talks To Madonna’s Brother

On UK Marie Claire website, a recent interview with Christopher Ciccone, Madonna’s brother, claimed to the magazine that the singer went under the knife to maintain her line-free face.

“When asked whether Ciccone still recognised Madonna from the girl he grew up with, he replied: 'Not after the facelift.'”

Of course bloggers had to add their two cents or as they say in the UK, two pence…haha! This is one bloggers comments that we can't help but agree with:

“I'm not shocked that Maz has had a face lift but I am a little disappointed. Then again the woman is 50. I don't think anybody in the public eye has gone untouched, I just wish they'd admit it. There is enough pressure on ordinary women as it is without having to live up to unrealistic examples of beauty. Celebrities have surgery, personal trainers, live-in chefs, diet gurus and airbrushing to maintain their looks, ordinary women have a lot to live up to, if more celebrities were honest maybe less women would have so many hangups and maybe more men would appreciate that beauty to be found on tv or within the pages of a magazine is not even skin deep.”Comment by meziem on July 16 22:51

The 40% are welcome at BHI

A recent survey by Synovate found that almost half of women around the world would change their looks if they could. It said that while two thirds of all people say that beauty is not just about physical attractiveness, 40% would alter their looks if they had the funds. Overall, 35% of people worldwide attribute beauty to 'what's on the inside' and another 32% say it's all about confidence. At BHI, we agree that it’s 'what's on the inside' that counts but we know that confidence is increased when you feel good about yourself.
