Marie Claire UK Talks To Madonna’s Brother

On UK Marie Claire website, a recent interview with Christopher Ciccone, Madonna’s brother, claimed to the magazine that the singer went under the knife to maintain her line-free face.

“When asked whether Ciccone still recognised Madonna from the girl he grew up with, he replied: 'Not after the facelift.'”

Of course bloggers had to add their two cents or as they say in the UK, two pence…haha! This is one bloggers comments that we can't help but agree with:

“I'm not shocked that Maz has had a face lift but I am a little disappointed. Then again the woman is 50. I don't think anybody in the public eye has gone untouched, I just wish they'd admit it. There is enough pressure on ordinary women as it is without having to live up to unrealistic examples of beauty. Celebrities have surgery, personal trainers, live-in chefs, diet gurus and airbrushing to maintain their looks, ordinary women have a lot to live up to, if more celebrities were honest maybe less women would have so many hangups and maybe more men would appreciate that beauty to be found on tv or within the pages of a magazine is not even skin deep.”Comment by meziem on July 16 22:51

Turning 50 Never Looked So Good!

On Monday, Sharon Stone turned 50 and next is Michelle Pfeiffer in April, plus Madonna in August. We have said in the past, 50 is the new 30! Congrats to these ladies who look amazing and who obviously know how to take care of themselves. We aren’t saying that they have had any work done but they definitely look like they know how to maintain a youthful look- an inspiration to all women who want to look the age they feel. This is the year of celebrating your 50’s, so don’t forget to treat yourself with some rejuvenation at BHI!

Improper, we think not!

We found a great article written about celebrities and plastic surgery. We love this quote and completely agree!

“Aging is a part of life, and most women want to retain their youth as long as possible. But don’t be fooled when a Hollywood celeb whose face looks shiny, waxy and tighter than a drum insists it’s all natural. There’s nothing wrong with cosmetic enhancements, but there is something unsettling about blatantly lying about it, in my opinion.”

The author has some great ideas about what Madonna, Demi Moore, and Susan Lucci had done but she forgot one easy thing, to talk to us! At BHI, we know better than anyone what Hollywood’s Hottest Looks are. Next time just pick up the phone and we are happy to help you out!

Star and BHI

Another picture of Madonna looking so refreshed has surfaced and we have to say she looks amazing. We were recently interviewed by STAR Magazine on what possible procedures Madonna has had. We think that it could be some fillers such as Juvederm around the eyes, Botox on the crows feet and forehead and maybe a light chemical peel to freshen up.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Last week was a pretty hectic week at BHI, we weren’t able to post on some of the many exciting happenings going on. The Oscar nominations were announced, Madonna was spotted with some new bruises and of course, Hollywood’s Hottest Looks made front page news once again!

True Blue…

One her way out of Claridge’s in London, Madonna was photographed at 1:00 a.m. with sunglasses covering an alleged bruise. Now we know Madonna doesn’t want to have a press conference to discuss her possible plastic surgery but does she have to do it that early? Let your doctor sleep, Madonna!

Always in Vogue

Over the last couple of years, we have heard quite a bit about Madonna’s smooth forehead and youthful looks. Rumors have speculated from a facelift to Botox. Madonna was snapped leaving a New York medical building with two black eyes, prompting speculation that she has undergone cosmetic surgery.

Last year she spoke to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper admitting that she has been thinking about visiting a plastic surgeon in an attempt to fight the biological clock. “I think about it, like everybody, and I don't rule it out. ’But I am not going to hold a press conference if I have plastic surgery.”

If she did, who cares? For goodness sakes, she is almost 50 and looks great! She has always been on the forefront of fashion, beauty and style. Our personal opinion is that she didn’t have a facelift; it’s possible that she might have had eyelid surgery or maybe a chemical peel around the eyes but not a face lift. But we aren’t holding a press conference about it and neither should she! You look awesome, Madonna!
