End of their Story

How sad, it turns out that one of our favorite shows will be done after their next season. While that won't be too soon, NIP/TUCK only has until early 2011 to air plastic surgery's wild side. Thankfully. BHI will still be around!

“KNOT” For Us!

Ever since last Monday, when we first saw these images of Joan Van Ark we have been debating whether we should post them or not but ultimately we felt it was part of our Hippocratic Oath to comment. Joan, from "Knots Landing" fame, recently revealed her new face on December 1. Typically we applaud and respect a woman’s right to feel good and stave off the aging process, but in this case less is more. We loved her from minute she appeared on “Dallas” to her days on “Knots Landing,” she was definitely one of Hollywood’s Hottest Looks in the 80’s.

She attempted to soften the redness from some type of chemical peel or laser resurfacing with make up but instead emphasized it more by heavy make-up which exacerbated her painted on eye makeup and (in our opinion) highly-plumped lips. We think it is pretty ironic that Van Ark has recently filmed a guest appearance on the plastic surgery based drama FX series, "Nip/Tuck.” Love you Joan! We are here for you if you ever want to discuss how to regain your Hollywood’s Hottest Looks!

NIP/TUCK Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Dylan Walsh who plays Dr. Sean McNamara on NIP/TUCK. Dylan turns 44 tomorrow. What a great year for him and he doesn’t look a day over 40! NIP/TUCK continues to be on a winning streak this season. It is the #1 show on Basic Cable with women ages 18-34 and 18-49 for two weeks in a row. At BHI, we know how NIP/TUCK feels. We are #1 with women of ALL ages year round! Happy Birthday, Dylan and congrats on another fabulous season of NIP/TUCK.

Wild About Nip/Tuck

Not only do the characters on Nip/Tuck pretend to have plastic surgery, they also practice what they preach. John Schneider, a guest star on the new season of Nip/Tuck, revealed to EXTRA that he had liposuction on his stomach after getting frustrated with his inability to lose the flab with sit-ups.

“I went the liposuction route a couple of years ago,” said Schneider. “I would do 1000 sit-ups a day and nothing was happening.”

At BHI, we think liposuction is perfect for people who, despite all the dieting and exercise they do, still can’t lose those last few pounds. Lately, John has been known for playing Clark Kent’s father on Smallville and in the recent Amanda Byne movie, Sydney White. If he doesn’t sound familiar, we are sure you will remember him as wild Bo Duke on Dukes of Hazzard. This season on Nip/Tuck, John plays a porn star and we can’t wait to see how wild he is on this show!

Nip Tuck Moving To LA!

We were driving down Hollywood and Highland the other day and saw TV’s favorite plastic surgeons in hologram at the Hollywood and Highland Center. No it’s not us, but the skirt-chasing, morality-challenged Christian Troy, and the straitlaced, idealistic Sean McNamara of the hit cable show, Nip/Tuck.

This season they are diving into the Beverly Hills lifestyle, with publicist played by Lauren Hutton at their side to bring in celebrity clientele as they try to rebuild their plastic surgery practice. Good thing this is a TV show or we would have to show them who is the best in Beverly Hills, us of course! Now that would be drama.
